This tutorial was created by Shari's Design and is my own creation. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
I am using the great Scrap Kit Freebie "Rock Angel" by Jenny and can be snagged Here . I am also using the mask by Weescotslass #89 and can be picked up on here site Here. The graphic I am using is by Keith Garvey and must have a license to use it, that can be purchased Here. This tutorial assumes you have a good knowledge of PSP and I used PSPX, but most versions should work. This tutorial is a framework and my own creative idea and I hope that following it will spark your own creative mojo.
Filters used:
Xenoflex2 ~ Constellation
Eyecandy4000 ~ Gradient Glow
Open and load WSL_89
Open your tube of choice and duplicte it, close the original and minimize the tube
Open a new image 600 x 600, flood fill with white
From the Kit:
Papers 7 & Transparent Paper
Grunged_Up edge
Double Staple
Music Note #7
Wing box ****Optional****
Barbed wire 2
Fire Charm 2
Add new raster layer
With you selection tool, retangle, replace, feather 0
set your cursor top left corner, x: 50, y: 50, hold your left mouse down
and drag to the position x: 550, y: 550
Open Transparent Paper, edit/copy, paste into selection
On the Layer pallet, click on the Mode and change to soft light
Add new layer
Open Grunged_Edge, edit/copy, paste into selection
Selections/modify/expand/25
In you material pallet change the foreground color to #624c65
Flood fill selection, deselect and drag this layer under Transparent Paper
Highlight top layer, open Paper 7, copy and paste as new layer
Layers/Load Mask, find WSL_89, fit to canvas, invert not checked, ok
On the layer pallet, Merge/merge group the mask layer
Open tube of choice and resize if needed, copy and paste to your liking
Place tube to the right of center
Open double staple and resize 75%
Paste as new layer, more these to the top left side (see placement on sample)
Duplicate this layer and Image/Mirror, Image/flip
Merge down and add dropshadow
Open Music Note 7, resize 40%, copy and paste as a new layer
Drag over double staple on the left, Image/mirror
Open barbed wire 2, resize 40%, drag to the bottom left, duplicate
Image/rotate to the left 90%, pull to the upper right side(see placement on sample)
Merge down and add drop shadow
Open fire charm and resize 50% (you can colorize this)
Paste as new layer, duplicate and resize 70%, duplicate this layer and arrange them
as you wish. Merge down the 3 fire charms
Duplicate the fire charm layer 2 times ***Optional if you choose to Animate them**
Close out the top two copies of the charms, highlight the original
Effects/Plugins/Xenoflex/Constellation, settings as follows: 2.16, 6, 1, 1, 100, 55, 45, check "keep original" click random seed, click ok
Move to the 1st copy layer and repeat above, click on random seed , click ok
Move to the 2nd copy layer and repeat again changing the random seed, click ok
Add Text, I used the font "Impact" for Rock Angel and the effects/texture/blind
Add Text again for the name, I used A&S Signwriter, Black
Effects/Plugin/Eyecandy4000/Gradient Glow setting as follows:
15, 25, 100, draw outside, Color, Thin, White
Change mode to disolve
Add new raster layer, add watermark, copyright information if needed
If you are not animating this tag then Merge flat and save as a jpeg
ANIMATION
to animate the charms, close off the duplicated charm layers, highlight the top layer of tag
Edit/copy merge, open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation
Back to PSP, close original layer and open next charm layer
Edit/copymerge and take to AS, paste after current frame
Back to PSP and repeat for 3rd charm layer as above
View Animation, resize if you wish, File/save as and you are done
