This tutorial was created by Shari's Design and is my own creation. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
I am using the beautiful Scrap Kit "Orange Juice" from FantasyMoments and can be downloaded Here Free
I am also using the awesome template from "SugarBritches Sassy Scraps" Template can be found on page 2 (group of 4) and can be downloaded Here Free
The graphic I am using is from Zindy S. D Neilsen and is from her free group that does not need a license and can be downloaded Here
. I am also using WSL Mask 258 and can be downloaded Here.
Outside filters used:
Xero ~ Porcelain
Eyecandy 3 ~ Fire (optional if you choose to animate the candles)
Use Dropshadow of your choice
Download and unzip kit and template into a folder that is easy to access
Copy your mask to your PSP Mask file
This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP
Let's get started and save often
Open Kelly's Template #11, delete raster 9 and 10
flood fill raster 1 with white, you can resize later
Open from scrap kit paper of choice and paste as new layer above raster1
Layer/Mask/WSL 258, fit canvas, ok
Merge/merge group
Effects/Plugin/xero/porcelain/default
I used porcelain one every element including the tube I used, Default setting
Raster 6, using the magic wand, feather 0, click
Open new paper from kit, I used Paper 21, copy and paste as new layer
Selections/Invert/delete (key on keyboard)/deselect
Delete raster 6
Add porcelain effect/default
Now repeat above directions for Vector 1,2 & Raster2-4 & 8 (leave Raster 7 as is
Raster 5 is blank, with papers of choice
Add porcelain to each layer
Open Tube or Mist of choice and resize if necessary
If you are using a mist you will need to add color to Vector 3
Magic wand, click inside Vector 3 layer, flood fill with color, Do not Deselect
Paste your Tube or Mist into selection, deselect
Open whatever additional elements you like, resize and paste as new layers
Open the Candle Element, resize 50% then resize again 80%
***If you choose to animate the candle then*** Select/Freehand, feather 0
Select around the flame of each candle by holding down the shift key as you select
Duplicate the candle layer 2 more times
Activate original candle layer Effects/Plugin Eyecandy 3 with the following settings:
color of flame inner #ffffc0, outer #fbe4cf
Activate next candle layer, change Random to 625, click ok
Repeated for 3rd layer of the candle and change Random to 725
Add your text, watermark and copyright information
If you are not animating then Merge/flatten, save as jpeg, you are done.
***ANIMATION**
X out the 2 copy layers of the candle
Highlight your very top layer
Edit/Copy Merge
Open Animation Shop (AS), paste as new animation
Back to PSP, X out original layer candle, UnX second candle layer
Edit/Copy Merge
Back to AS and paste after current layer
Repeat for 3rd candle layer
View Animation, save as a gif and you are done.
