This tutorial was created by Shari's Design and is my own creation. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
I am using the Great Freebie Scrap Kit "Rock On" by Stef's Creations and can be found Here.
I am also using the awesome artwork for Keith Garvey, you need a license to use his work and it can be found Here. I used the mask #245 from Weescotslass and can be found Here.
Outside effects used are Eyecandy4000 ~ Gradient Glow
and Alienskin Xenoflex2 ~constellation
Font used is Papyrus
Drop shadow setting is up to you.
Unzip scrap kit to a location that is accessible
This tutorial was written in PSPX, but should work in most versions. It is assumed that you have a good working knowledge of PSP.
Open a new image 450 x 450
Flood fill with white
Open your tube of choice, (shift-d) Duplicate it and close original, resize as needed, lower if for later use.
Out of the kit I used the following:
Paper 15
Frames 1 & 2
Glitter Frame 1
Heart Charm 1
Doodle 1 & 2
Flower 1 & 2
Butterfly2
minimize all be Frame 1 and 2
Edit/copy and paste as new layer frame 2 onto working image, close this tube now you are done with it.
Edit/copy and paste as new image Frame 1, Image/resize 35%
Edit/copy and paste as a new layer on working image, above layer 1
Maximize the Glitter frame 1, edit/copy and paste as a new layer, this will become the top layer
Duplicate this layer 2 times (you will now have 3 glitter frames)
Hide all layers except for Frame 2 layer and highlight this layer
With magic wand click inside frame
Selections/modify/expand by 5
Add new raster layer
Open the paper ***Notice this has 2 layers***
Highlight the jeweled layer, Edit/copy and paste as new layer
Selections/invert, be sure you are on the jeweled paper layer and on your keyboard click delete
Selections/select none
Highlight the very bottom layer and go to the solid red paper layer and edit/copy and paste as new layer
Layers/Load mask from disk, fit layer, invert not checked, OK
Merge/group
Image/Resize mask layer 60%, duplicate this layer and highlight original layer
Effects/texture add Mosaic Antique (26, 26, 100, 2, 50, symmetic checked)
Highlight raster layer 2, Effects/plugins, eyecandy4000/gradient glow: Color:White/Thin
Basic: Glow width: 15
Soft Corners: 25
Overall Opacity: 100
Check Draw only outside selection, ok
At this point add your Tube of choice, using whatever method you used
Add a drop shadow to your tube
Highlight your glitter frame (original layer), effects/plugins/Xeno2/constellation
Settings as follows: 5.16, 6, 1, 1, 100, 55. 45. 45, keep original image checked, apply
X closed this layer and open/highlight the next glitter frame, back to constellation and click on
Random Seed, apply. Repeat this for the 3rd glitter frame
Open doodle 1, paste above background layer, resize as needed and add dropshadow
Highlight top layer, Open doodle 2, resize 60%, copy/ paste as new layer, Image/rotate 45%
Image/mirror and place at bottom of the tag **see sample for placement
With the remaining elements, you can place them as you like
Add new layer and add watermark, copyright information. Text to your liking
ANIMATION
Close out your top 2 glitter frame layers
Highlight you very top layer
Edit/copy Merge
Go to Animation Shop and paste as new animation
Back to PSP and close original glitter frame layer and open the next
Glitter frame layer
Edit/copy Merge
Go back to AS and paste after current frame
Back to PSP and close this little frame layer, open the last of the Glitter frame layer
Edit/copy Merge
Go back to AS and paste after current frame
Edit/select all, Animation/frame properties and change to 25
Now View Animation
If you are satisfied then File/save as and you are finished
